There isn't an age. If you play paintball you can play tourny's. You just probably have to have a permision slip.


I see that your 14. That age is fine. I played my first tourny when I was 13.

There is no age limit, except for young guns, but that is an age limit on the other side.

Be ready to have mommy sign a paper or lie about your age though.

I believe most insurance policies require players to be at least 10, and those under 18 have to have their parent sign off on the waiver. Idk if whatever tournament you plan on playing has any age restrictions, you'll have to check for yourself.

Yeah, 14 is fine. I played a tourny with a 9 year old and that pissed me off cause the ref wouldnt let us shoot him and when someone did we would get a overshooting penalty. Then they gave him teh sportsmanship award even though he was saying everyone was cheating and overshooting him (3 balls isnt overshooting).

Just play in the lowest division possible and practice before hand. You might get destroyed but the sooner you begin playing competitively the faster you will improve.

Its ok. Im far from a touney. I just came out from my first game.
and Im not gonna find that many tournaments in Florida.

I've seen the paintball newspaper and it doesn't show me any tournament in florida.
if any of you guys hear about tournaments in Florida pm me if you want to.

At one time Florida was the biggest state for paintball, now Cali kinda took it over. You will find plenty of tournys there. Just check around the net.

Ask the refs and/or more experienced players next time you play at your field, they should know what's up.
