a freak is a type of barrel which uses a 'bore' so you can match your paint size to the barrel size of your marker. when done correctly this will cause greater accuracy and how to do this is find a bore that the ball doesn't fall completely through, but doesn't stick inside the 'bore' when you blow on it.

try it with several different paintballs from your case though, as some companys make their paintballs a little less than par and will come in several different sizes.

basically the difference is co2 is constantly expanding and it is a liquid, so it is not as consistant and it's less clean.

compressed air is air which is compressed into a tank that will later go through a reg and into your marker, they're much more consistant and more expensive as well... you can usually get more shots from a compressed air tank and they're often lighter as well...

a battery is for the electronics: not all guns are mechanical.

the perfect barrel length is opinion, but for the most part, you never need to surpass the length of 16"

Freak kit is an upgrade barrel kit with multiple inserts so you can match whatever paint you're using that particular day to your barrel.

What is the difference in CO2 and nitrogen?
CO2 is Carbon Dioxide; that tanks that used it are smaller and cheaper because the do not need a regulator and do need to be very strong because it's stored at a relatively low pressure. It's worse for guns because it's dirtier than compressed air or nitrogen, and it's very cold so it can freeze o-rings causing them to crack. CO2 is also very susceptible to temperature changes causing pressure spikes or drop which can damage some guns and cause your velocity to fluctuate, sometimes spiking up beyond the safety limit.
Nitrogen is not usually pure Nitrogen, it's just compressed air, the stuff we breathe because it's mostly Nitrogen anyways, in reality it's HPA (High Pressure Air). HPA tanks are bigger expensive because it's stored at relatively high pressures, but it's much safer for guns and will not fluctuate with temperature changes.

The battery is to power the solenoid and circuit board.

What is the perfect length in a barrel?
Anything from 12-16".
