I've never seen them as being effective. There is never a time to really use them when its just people playing (no tanks or what not). However this year we are trying something new with them. We are taking flay pigeon throwers and launching the grenades at our opponents.

They're overpriced, often faulty, the range is too short, and unless you land one directly on a person, it's too hard to tell whether they actually got hit or it is just spray from being shot at.

Looked at them, seemed kinda pointless.....only way i can see them being effective is maybe throwing behind a bunker or somthing.....who knows?!?!?!?!

I've seen them go off, never had to throw one or anything, but they are way to pricy, you could just chuck 4 dollars and it would probably be more affective than the grenade.

ive seen them thrown land and get thrown back and work  only time i saw one effectivly work when it was one of the trick ones that you leave on the field so noobs pick it up and try and use it and it goes off.

From experience, a paint grenade can rape a team is a building.
Playing the defend team in attack&defend we had one guy through a granade through the doorway and 3 of us got out instantly.

They're certainly fun to use which is in large part the point of the scenario games, but effective? No not really.

i voted that they are cheap.
i have never gotten hit by one but i have seen people throw them.
some are so cheap they never go off.
i have steped on one of those mines while playing a scenario game at my parents company outing. The best part was IT MISSED ME.
It was amazing the holes were turned the wrong way or something cause they shot the opposite way.
Maybe i just got lucky but from my experience mines and gernades are for those who cant hit others with the gun.
