Okay so I have a stock halo that runs on a 9 volt battery but today when I was playing today the light sttarted flashing red and green. So I changed the battery out and it did the samething so what is going on?

Yes I know this doesn't go in here but since no one looks at the hopper part of the forum I decide to put it in here. Please no flaming or saying "man this doesn't go here". sorry again admins.

that would bean that the replacement battery you but in was no good as well

If the battery you put was brand new though then you should try another one too. Other than, the only thing I can think of is the wiring inside went bad, but it can be fixed for fairly cheap at a local paintball shop.

Is it the one i traded you kevin? It gets pissy if you don't put a really fresh quality batt in it(remember the ones bryan brought out that day that wouldn't work?)

get a double 9v harness, OR use 2 9.6v rechargables (thats what i use) the board automatically turns the voltage down to 6v for the motor so you dont have to worry, and with 18v the hopper doesnt notice a low battery quit as much

its made to run off the MaH of 6 AA batterys, which is much higher of a MaH than a 9v battery

just a tip for ya! i made some 9v harnesses really cheap, you can pick up all the stuff at a radioshack, the 9v clips, shrinkwrap, and a sottering iron are best

you take the 2 that connect to the battery and wrap their + to + and - to -, then you take the 2+ and wrap them to the -on the third lead, and then take the 2- and put them to the + on the third lead

its all in a PBN sticky for halo mods, my favorites got wiped so im sorta out of luck but ya

thanks for the input everyone. it really helps out alot. Doe did you read my first post all the way through I stated that I had put it in the right section and no one responded.

I haven't owned a halo in a while but if I remember correctly red and green flashing means a jam, not low battery; flashing red is low battery.

I could be wrong, maybe it's the other way around...

Yeah, my friends halo did the same thing and we read that PBN sticky and got it all fixed up.

Considering your post count, and the fact that Itold him to try posting things here if he was getting no response, you might learn to be a little more polite to people and READ there posts.
