It really depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a light, dependable, easy maintanence gun, the ego is the best in my opinion.
BUT, if you are like me, and prefer your guns shoot smooth, accurate, and quiet, then something like a Matrix or Angel will suit you better. So I think Matrices and angel's are better than ego's, but many others disagree.

See, this is were me and toxic disagree. I prefer egos for their lightweight, ease of maintenance, and air efficiency.
As you can see its all about preference. I love matrices, but i prefer a light weight gun. Matrices will be quieter, and shoot so smooth its orgasmic. But they get worse gas efficiency, and weigh a tad more. So yea, every one has their own opinions on what the best gun is.
Ive seen people who (truthfully) take $400 guns over all that other stuff. A good friend of mine will shoot a $400 alien interceptor. He goes and buys two and always has a back up and they shoot good and he loves them for the price so in his opinion thats the best gun out there.

Yeah, but an EGO, or a MATRIX, or an ANGEL? This is a "newbie" we're trying to "assign" a gun to correct? If everybody disagrees with me that an ION is too hard for a "newbie" to take care of, how is an EGO, MATRIX, or ANGEL any easier? How serious about playing is your friend, and how much does he have to spend?

You don't have to capitalize every letter of every gun.
Egos, Angels, and Matrices are easier to take care of than Ions. Plus Ions suck.

Egos are much easier to take care of, so are angels just because of their operating design. As long as you keep the o-rings lubed and in good condition (which is easy to do) the matrices are also very easy to take care of. The Ion has many hoses and some fragile banjo fittings. Learn some stuff about guns and how they work before you go spouting off about stuff.

Okay. I'm officially changing my password. My retarded friends keep getting onto my profile and using my name to say the stupidest **** ever heard. Angels, Egos, and Matrixes are easier to take care of than Ions, and almost everybody knows that. Sorry for the mass confusion that they've promoted.
