1v1 help and a story :)

Ok, I have been playing paintball for about 2 and a half years now. I got my friend into paintball about septetember 06. I took him on his first time to play. We went to play about a week ago with a couple of my other friends. Me and my friend, lets call my friend "Austin".
Austin and I decided to do a
1v1 just for fun. We go to a point in the game when he was in a bunker about 7 feet in front of me. So I sprinted on his left side and shot him a bunch, then I slid behind another bunker. Apparently none of them broke, the ref checked. Then him and I were in a stand of again. I had to move because i was about to be cornered, As soon as I left the bunker he shot me in the leg, but I thought it didnt break. I then returned fire and I landed one on his hands that broke.
After the game I relized that the one he hit me in the leg actually broke, but I didnt notice it in the game. I went up and told him and he was really happy about it because he finally beat me. Then today when we were talking somehow it got into a arugment about who was better, me or him. He is convinced that he awalys beats me and owns me in paintball.
I think that one game went to his head. I was trying to convice him that I played a year and half more than he had, and I have had my gun for longer. He said that dosent matter, and was convinced that he was better than me. Then he would awalys go back to "Remnber a week ago when I beat you in the 1v1 game". It is really starting to tick me off.
I am going to play him again in a 1v1 game this weekend. Does anybody have any tips on a 1v1 speedball game? I know to keep moving and that, but any real tacticts. Like if their 10 feet ahead on a bunker what should I do. Things like that. Just an extra reinsurance. Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

sounds like you did a good job at it. just get paint that won't bounce next time.

1v1 requires a lot of moving really fast. shoot off the break, then try to move as fast as possible to an advantageous spot. sometimes you have to be quiet, but iv'e found that's not worth it unless your'e absolutely sure he doesnt' have any clue where you're at.

I reliezed that 1v1 games usually turn into a bunker standoff between bunkers like 10ft away. If I try to move to another, one im likely to get shot. I have a question. When he is at a bunker and I run around his side to get him out, is it better to run to his side and make sure every shot hits him to be certain one pops? Or is it better to run around his side, while running and shooting at the same time. Remenber this is a 1v1 game.

Doesn't matter, 1v1's don't show any skill.
