The DM8's will not be at the cup! Only display models! Dave will also not be there. The wildfires in Socal have ****ed Dye. Alot of the employees have lost their homes and all the DM8's are stuck in the headquarters.

hmm. I'm not normally a critic of looks...but for that much money it better turn me on sexually and this does not. besides, that regulator looks like a dildo.(can i say that? sorry if it's not allowed)

people keep saying the eyes are recessed in the body...so now we have to take the grip frame off to get to the eyes?..sounds like a step backwards if you ask me.

Where's all the info about it? that's the stuff I care more about.

It looks stupid if you ask me. I wouldn't buy it, and even if I won one at a torunament or something, I'd sell it.

well it's DYE so you know it's quality. I just won't be spending my money on it unless they've done something amazing to the insides.
If i WAs going to buy something, it'd be the pm8

it's apparently removable. there's better pics of it where it looks a lot better. I bet it's comfy too...but it still looks like crap.

The milling is more aggressive this year, but i dont like the PM8 missing the LPR. Dye has always had a

in my book for looks, but i feel its a step back. If the DM8 had a redesigned reg look then i would love it.

If I am going to be picking up any of the new products this year, it will be the SLG, that thing looks totally Kickass. I think I would even take it over a PM/DM8.

The SLG does look sweet, but taken it over the DM8 still would be a stretch. The DM8 still has a UL frame and a few nice perks at which the SLG doesnt, but if you were on a budget then yes the SLG should be amazing.

I agree. DYE is a quality name, and obviously it's a good gun, but I don't like it. I also agree with buying the PM8. That thing is sexy!!

SLG is a new dye gun, appears to be a sear based system, probably functioning similar to an automag.

Proto, not Dye. Yes, they're essentially the same, but I had to clarify to avoid confusion...
They say it's a spool valve with a sear, there's no pneumatic solenoid, just a mechanical one used for sear trippers. So yeah, I'm not sure how closely the design resembles an automag, but there's bound to be at least a few similarities I think. If I remember correctly, it's going to be $250.
