OK first of all i would like someone who knows this site better to redirect this to the correct spot because i cannot find it.

OK, I know i have made earlier posts about guns i wanted to get but i cant decide
OK, I am saving up for a new gun but i dont know which one to get, I dont want to spend more than 500$ on the gun
The reason i am getting a new gun is I am sick of all my "friends" saying that my gun sucks and that theirs is so much better so i want a gun that is better than BT-4 Combat, Icon C, Icon X, Spyder Sonix, and Stryker STR-1
I know this sounds selfish and stuff like that but it is really annoying.

Great reliable gun. Just get a better barrel, and expansion chamber if your going to use CO2. Its more of a woodsball gun than anything. Its great, I have one. Read the sig and you'll see my specs. J&J Ceramic is a great choice. An egrip is my favorite upgrade. If you plan on getting one, get a JCS Dual/blade trigger and a APE RAMPAGE Board. It has stronger wiring, its advertised as weather resistant, never played in rain with it yet.

Like everyone said, your pretty much paying for just a extra milsim look, if you play a lot of scenario its probably good, but the barrels arent that great. You can buy one and upgrade a little more, or you can just buy a Expansion chamber mag with a M4 stock and shroud and it'll look like one close enough.

If you mean once a month, then I wouldn't go dumping a whole lot of money into upgrading a marker (whichever you get). I'd suggest (painfully) a Tippmann A5, or 98 Custom. They both accept CO2, and will work fine for you. Spend the extra money that you had for upgrades to get yourself a nice mask (VForce Profilers, JT Flex 8, DYE I3, etc.). You should never mess with your safety.

Thats why I asked if he was a scenario player.

if your only going to play once a month then yeah don't spend too much money on milsim, you can do better with the extra money instead of spending an extra 200 for looks. J&J Ceramic, X Core 8 stage expansion chamber, are the best upgrades next to EGRIP, but if your going to play once a month then just get performance upgrades like I stated (barrel ect ect)

Those are nice upgrades, but a little over the top for a once-a-monthe player, don't you think? If you do get any or all of those upgreades, make sure that you have the cash to get yourself a decent mask. As I said before, safety is the most important.

Well if he has enough money for a 400 dollar gun then he has enough for a $30 barrel and a $30 Expansion Chamber. Thats all that a co2 user really needs or else it will freeze up the orings and temporarily malfunctioning. I also said next to the egrip, but with that 85 bucks you can get a good mask and a 20oz tank for $14.

Just buy the regular A5 first, and then as you start playing more, start putting a little bit more money into it. It may seem like a great idea now to splurg and spend the money now, but as you get older (I'm assuming you're relativly young which I actually have no right to assume), you're going to become interested in other things, leaving you with a really nice, expensive gun you don't really need/use.
