Hi. At the moment I own a tippman 98 custom pro with bt style, but I want to get an electric marker I am considering a Dangerous Power fusion f8. Do you guys think this is a good choice for a player in Norway? (dont want a very expensive one)

As for the new marker choice; that will probably be too much of an upgrade for you to handle. I'd start off with a Spyder VS1/VS2.

The f8 fusion looks pretty good. The original was nice, so i'm sure this is a great product. It'll be alot better then the VS1 or 2. If you want to spend the money, I would seriously consider getting it.

How often have you played? How long have you been playing for? Have you ever tried Speedball before (Dangerous Power Fusion8 is a speedball gun). If you can't handle it, you'll end up breaking it (they require EXTREME CARE as all speedball markers do).

Please post threads about Dangerous Power products in the Dangerous Power sub-forum next time:
http://www.paintballforum.com/dangerous-power/
"Extreme care" means unlike a Tippmann if you dunk it in mud for 24hrs, it won't work again even if you clean it thoroughly.
Just perform general maintenence on it regularly, and don't do anything absurd like smash it against a rock or submerge it in water. YouCantSeeMee is worried (And rightly so) that like the myriad of other new players, the switch from a very basic and low end gun to something relatively high end and sophisticated will be too much for you. Just be aware that the Fusion design shares very little in common with the design of a Tippmann; read the manual thoroughly and assume nothing about your new marker.
Dangerous Power is a new company, they emerged just last year. Their first gun was the Fusion, which gained popularity quickly for it's reasonable price tag (thanks to production in Taiwan) and unusually good for performance and reliability for it's price; great bang for your buck. The F8 is the 2nd version of the Fusion; it's been made lighter, simpler, and some other small things. If you're familiar with the Infinity Legend, the design is very similar to that (the Legend goes for about $300 more though, and does not come with two on/off ASA's like the F8 does).
It's a stacked tube FASOR design without an LPR. This means: It has a bit more kick than some other guns, but it's a fast, efficient, and reliable design. It also comes with everything you need out of the box, so you don't need to spend money upgrading it. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the trigger, but that's personal preference and it can be adjusted to your liking.
Be aware, you cannot use CO2 on this marker, even if anti-siphoned. You will ruin the solenoid along with some seals throughout the marker if you try it. You will have to invest in a compressed air tank.
As for it being a "speedball" marker; a gun is what you make of it. It's not going to shut down if detects too much wildlife and vegetation around it... you might want to get one of the dust versions, in olive or black etc., so it's not a shiny beacon to attract the attention of your opposition.
Welcome to the forum.

EXTREME CARE!!! Have you ever seen a fusion????!!! They require very little care. Less then a 98 like DarkTamer said. Just becuase it's a "speedball gun" dosn't mean it's high maintance. your thinking of spool-valuves such as shockers, dyes, protos, and quests that require a little more frequent maintance.

They definitely require more than a 98c.
If you want a good speedball gun I'd get a used cyborg, ego or viking.

General maintenance means that you take it apart regularly to lube the o-rings.
What kind of tank is it? If it is a CO2 tank, then you cannot use it with this marker.

is it co2 or nitrogen? and I personally wouldn't have bought it, I don't really like or trust it's bolt design. I would have just bought a used matrix for the price.
