Number one thing you have to do tomorrow is play CIVIL WAR. Each take 20 big paces and take 1 shot each. Step in.. 1 Shot Each. Until you can't take the pain. If you can handle getting hit by a few balls your all good! If after the second ball hurts like crazy and you need to quit. Stay in the Woods..
Secondly, stand in front of a mirror with your gun pointing at the mirror. move to the left as far as you can go (assuming your right handed shooter) until all you can see is your gun tight to your mask. Practice shooting (without air/ co2) and notice how well you tuck your elbow and hand it as you shoot. The mirror depicts what all stands out as your peak around the bunker so you know what you have to keep in. It's ALL MENTAL!
Try that out.

I'd have to agree. It's your first tournament; go have fun and get a taste of adrenaline like you've never tasted before!

keep your head up and don't just focus on one spot of the field. You'll see more shots this way and shouldn't get boxed in.
stay calm and use good form.

You're playing speedball for the first time? Or a tournament for the first time?
Use proper form, even if it feels unnatural at first. It pays out big once you get used to it and can switch hands quickly etc. Don't be afraid to move; I'm not saying be overly courageous and get shot up, but if no one is shooting at you... take a chance. As people said, don't get tunnel vision, be aware of the entire field, and communicate what you see.
One of the biggest mistakes I see new players/teams do, is one kid shoots at bunker for 90% of the game, while his team slowly gets killed and because they're not communicating he doesn't notice; then while he's still concentrating on that other bunker, a player from the other team can literally walk up behind them and bunker them. Happens all the time.

ya paintball is a lyfestyle just go out there with nothing else on your mind exzcept your instinct, form and angles will help you a ton in speed ball its like a game of chess think about it......take it one move at a time but be aware of your surroundings...
