i like to use a 50/50 mix of water and rubbing alcohol, wipe it with a rag/q-tips damp with that and you'll be happy-cuts the grease great. Really though, just wiping it off with cloth right after getting hit goes a long way. Also, never use paper towels on the outside (and esp not the internals) as it will cause small scratches.

i definitely have some OCD happenin...i take everything apart and clean everything in the same sequence so i make sure i got everything. never had any problems though!

I'm more or less the same way. I even take out my goggle lenses and then clean the frame of them with a toothbrush! I clean my hopper, my ENTIRE marker, clothing, and anything else that I used that day!! It may be a little much, or over the top, but it keeps my gear working all the time, every time.

theres nothing wrong with that. this gear is a big investment (for me at least) and taking care of it is just like taking care of any other investment its always a good thing
