Barrel Performance

Hey so with the advice you guys gave me i bought three barrels I bought the fibur null, a deadly wisper and a joystick with a barrel adapter. "i know it stupid of me to buy them all but they can go to my collection". the fibur works really well but every 5 balls or so one popsthen i will switch barrels and the deadly wisper is awsome but with the alpha black velocity upgrade i got i have to crank down the velocity nearly all of the way down. Then lastly the best was the joystick barrel the only thing wrong is that my MILSIM gun looks friken stupid with my m-16 shroud on it. id take it off but my laser (just for looks) and my loader for my gun are mounted on the shroud lol so stupid what do you think its not that much of a problem

If you are breaking paint every five balls you are likely using too small an insert. Anyway I have no idea what you are talking about I'm just stunned that you are using a few hundred dollars worth of barrels on an Alpha Black.

There isn't a barrel on the market that is going to give you an instant improvement in your game. For a low end marker like the Alpha Black I'd skip the carbon fibre thing and barrel kits and go for a decent quality one piece barrel with a slightly larger bore the Lapco Bigshot would be a good choice.

I have a Dye UL and it's pretty accurate. The first day I used it I enjoyed throwing some paint in a four inch gap of a blind 30-35 yards away while playing woodsball.

My Ion comes with a jr freak barrel in something like a .688 and the UL is in a .692. Paint is a tighter fit in the UL. Go figure.

testament to the poor quality of freak barrels.

A gun like the alpha black is not going to be gentle on paint. Or very accurate, even with the best barrel. Did you forget to put a back in?

edit- RPS is not very hard as far as paint goes

dood u should have gotten the smart parts 18" barell. i love it and it works great. also u might want to pick up some paint called "stinger" its $35 bucks a box of 2000 and it shoots perfectly straight and doesnt break easily

first of all its spelled dude not dood.and second of all can a smart parts barrel give a paintball 100+ more feet than a normal barrel? didnt think so. get the apex

ya about the apex, same thing as the flatline, even if you can get the ball an extra 100 feet, it wont have enoufgh speed left to actually break on someone, so its pointless and overpriced
