if you go on the hammerhead barrels website they have a selection for every kit that says like, 1 fin, 3 fins, or 5 fins. what are they and why do you need them?

I'm guessing a "fin" is just an insert with a different bore size. There would be numbers such as .689 .687 .685 or somewhere around there associated with the bores. Unless a "fin" is an extension for some reason? It should tell you though, that's weird if it doesn't.
