OK. I got this new ion and i can only shoot to pb's until i gotta take the hopper off and the the pb in the feed neck. Whats wrong? Do i need a better hopper because i just have the regular hopper (not electronic)

You will need to post some better info for answers but if your using a VL200 for your electronic Ion then yes you will need to upgrade your hopper if you really want to up your shots per second..

Also got a Firebolt if you're Ion is completely stock, it's a decent bolt, and I have it for dirt cheap

No, but getting good aftermarket products will increase performance, so you're marker will shoot better and waste less air and such

you need to replace your feed neck....it has happened to me b4 with mine. after i figured out the problem i got a locking feedneck

what kind of hopper because im kinda low on money i was thinking of getting a halo b but i dont realy need that right because i dont need 30 balls in my gun so it would be kinda a waste of money.so what kind of hopper?

Well a halo will not feed that, around 18 to be honest. I'd suggest that or a VL eye force hopper.

DO NOT GET AN EGG. I am sorry to the above, but they are horridly designed, never hold up, don't do half of what VL says they do, and are prone to breaking constantly.

I'm going to suggest not wasting money upgrading the Ion. you'd be better off investing in a nice hopper (Vlocity, or the Vlocity Jr) and a nice tank. Than get a new marker.

lol never said it was good. i like it, it's cheap and does feed 20bps.

I call shens on that 2 0bps, maybe 15-17. But not 20.

the egg isn't very consisant when it comes to feeding speeds. I'm sure in some test they got it to feed 20 bps once for about 2 to 3 balls.

You also have to keep in mind that it also has a low side of about 10 or 11 bps.

It's average is much lower at like 14-15. Still thats fast enough for semi-auto.

loaders are like masks. You always want to get better than you think you need, that way when you upgrade your other equipment it will save you money. I recommend saving for a halo, reloader, or Vlocity. You wont regret it.

there's no point of getting a vl eye hopper id just get a vl hopper because vl's are $30 and vl eye's are $70 and only feeds to balls faster big waste of momey.

The VL eye force is like 30-40 bucks at Wal-Mart depending on where you are.

oh but there is. the non-eye version run constantly, whihc could end up blending paint. plus it makes that annoying whirr the entire time. If you go with that style hopper, get the one with eyes.
