And once again, just because he has an Ego dosn't mean he's going to play great. It's about the player, not the marker. The woods can really even the playing feild when it comes to a marker.

Yes I have a ego 08 and yes that is my a-5 with red dot scope that sux a 14 inch barrel and a liberty adjustable stock so yes that is definitley the A-5 i have with upgrades on it and further more I actually can play paintball pretty D a m n well of course it depends on the player not the gun i can play with my a-5 i have for the past couple of months I was just thinking about playing with my ego to see how it goes god man get over it.

ok to clear things up i am a woodsball player yes those are not pics of my actual gun but I have the same exact gun that is in those pics and i just wanted a second opinon on using my ego in the woods I already had the plan to do so unless someone gave me a good reason not to. also i am a pretty good player not just some noob to the game yes i do not know what all the parts to a gun are called but I can play thats for sure and slowly i am learning the name of the parts but I've been playing for just about 4 years now so leave me alone and if you reply just answer my original question which is. Is it a good idea to use a ego in the woods i just needed opinons. sweden you answered my question this is just to everyone else that is going on a frickin b i t c h fest about it.

I am not the most experienced player here by far but I can say I have a bit of common sense. If it was up to me Ego, I would use the A5 in the woods and leave the ego for the speedball field. In woodsball that I have played, rate of fire isn't going to win you the game nor is a flashy bright red marker. Just stick with the basics. Besides I wouldn't want to take me $800.00 marker out into the bush where it can get all sorts of garbage in it.

Sweden, I can see that you are trying to help, but please learn to use the edit button and limit your posts especially if you are going to say the same thing as a previous post. It doesn't help convince anyone, it just makes you look like worse..

I agree with my fellow canadian above me, I'd rather use a lower end marker that im not going to regret bashing around abit and getting some scratchs then a highend and later becoming emo about it (no offense to anyone).

And to Sweden not everyone can read you PM's to EGO, and you basically hijacked(s?) this thread about your team, Although your intentions(s?again) were somewhat clear, i rather you stay on topic then drift off, also calling senior members "babies" isn't very well..sane and quite rude. And, just to leave on a happy note, my team was Sweden for school olympics, we won silver.

Thanks you finally someone who answers my question and I just got back and I used only my tippmann today and from now on I will only use the a5 in the woods cause you are right speed does not matter. so thanks for answering my original post.

I use my Ego in the woods or my Phantoms or Automags whatever they all work basically the same. The one thing I like about using my Ego is that I can use much more brittle paint than the other guys with their Spyders and Tippmanns. Also I don't know how many of you guys have played outdoor speedball but I get tons of crap in my Ego much more than when I am playing in the woods since I rarely try any crazy dives or slides speedball markers aren't fragile at all they can take what you throw at them.

exactly. and that's what people fail to understand. dunking it in water isn't reccomended, but how ofter does that occur? I'm sure it could take a short spill in a small puddle or mudhole. Everwatched the speedball players abuse their equiptment? It's brutal; markers slam into the ground, hoppers do the same as well as tanks. I'ts a huge surprise that nothing more happens to them than the occasional problem.

let me get this straight,first of all

Ego, you have never played speedball and yet went out and got one of the most expensive markers out there? thats all great if you got the income but if you ever want to get into milsim play you may want to acually go try it first

secondly i find it strange that you dont know what milsim is and yet the profile picture you have there is a milsim marker

third, yes go play in the woods with it, iv seen a lot of speedball fields that are way more messed up than some woods, kinda depends on your area but as long as your not diving into mud puddles and going swimming with it your fine (i have a dm6 that goes everywhere with me)

sweeden, gosh where to start, without going through and counting it was looking like about 50% of the posts here are yours when really they can be compressed into 5 or so,

dont get annoyed at everyone for "missing the point" when you never stated the point, same with the joke about pumps between you and Ego

last, Ego you may want to find every piece of literature you can on that Ego, it really sounds like its way over your head, if you dont understand a lot of the fetures of it you could break something very easily. just a question do you know what FSDO is?

EGO08 you actually need to post a real picture of your gun sorry unless its stock and you havent done anything to it. Sadly i know that pic is not a stock gun

They can take a dunk in a puddle or mud hole I've done both (and worse) I don't baby my equipment I will always play my way and if my gear can't keep up it gets replaced. I'm a die hard woodsball player and I have no problem saying that speedball markers will take the punishment day after day and game after game.
