Dwell is simply the time your solenoid is open to allow air to circulate throughout the marker. FSDO is First Shot Drop Off, just when your first shot outta your gun is lower then what you have it set too.

Ok thanks and maybe from now on I'll research things more so I dont waste my money on a expensive gun and for woodsball it was stupid I dont need a high ROF, cause I blew through a hopper within 2 minutes so I am just going to stick with my tippmann a-5, and the BT-4 I bought, I also have a ion.

may as well keep that ego. you'll onyl loose money trying to sell it.
but dont' use it. Keep that ion around and learn on it. be careful with it though. they're not the most new player friendly markers either.

well thats less than 2bps, you could do that on a pump, your arm would be tired but its doable
if you want a marker that will start to get you into the higher end markers, look at the PMR (proto matrix rail) last i saw it was around $250 and everything iv heard is that its a great marker between something like a ion and something like a dm series marker.

With an autotrigger 2bps with a pump is easy...
I think he's pretty set on mil-sim, so the tippmann or Bt is the way to go

thers a few different causes but basically the first shot will be slow the second will be a bit faster then USUALLY by the third shot it is back up to its normal velocity that you cronoed it at, sometimes its caused by the bolt sticking a bit after its sat there for a bit, thats gennerally the case in higher end markers, generally though the software will have a setting on it that allows the dwell to be increased slightly after the marker has sat for a bit,.

it isnt smart to use an ego for woodsball. one reason: it is an electronic gun that is meant for speedball, not woodsball. dont worry about using it in speedball, but i wouldnt ise it in the woods because there are too many rocks and things you could trip over and scratch it on

well i already used it in a game in the woods and it worked fine and plus I know the woods like the back of my hand so I'm not worried I havent fallen over anything in the 15 years I've been messing around the woods.

That's why I always wrap my Ego up in cotton gauze whenever I take it outside.

An ego will prolly be safer in the woods then on a speedball field, they don't do all the superman dives into puddles that we do when it's rainy.

ok I'm prolly gonna play this weekend and I'll prolly take the ego as well as the bt and the ego i'm taking to learn how it works mainly and see how it goes this time around. Last time i didnt do bad in the woods I was out withing like three minutes cause we went with the one hopper rule and I blew mine pretty freakin quick I just need to learn to conserve ammo or take my frickin pods along in the woods with me.

A SCRATCH!! O NO!!!!!!!! society as we know it may come to an end! ya cuz you could never find anything on a speedball field that might scratch it, might be kinda hard to play with if its scratched, you know how else it might be hard to play? if aliens abducted you and amputated your trigger fingers.........
