300psi tank? you mean 30000?
anyhow, a garage compresser puts out dirty, wet air. not ot mention it's not exactly easty to finda proper fitting to fill it and you'll onyl get maybe 1 or 2 shots out of filling a tank with 150psi.

I think Martix meets 3000
And the simple answer is no, don't try, you won't really get enough psi to function properly for more than a few shots, and Martix is right about the air quality and such.

Well first of all dont know the exact problems but it will ruin and slwoly destroy your gun. Secondly its been done. YouTube - PMR and compessor and thirdly it doesnt recharge fast enough for even a PMR which means using it to fill a tank is totally impractical because it wont be able to pressurive over 150 PSI. Sorry man been there and thought of it but without an industrial compressor it will not work. If you plan on shoveling out some cash here is a link to a paintball supply website that sells both the compressor and storage tanks able to fill paintball tanks. Let's see, your going to run moisture into a small, delicate, electronic solenoid.....eha I see no problem with that....
Try the stickies in the new player forum, then the air forum
Short answer is no it's not possible to make a 150psi compressor put 3000psi in a tank...

If you want you could even buy a compressor that is rated for breathing air that fills scuba tanks.
Would be expensive, but it can be bought.

are you still trying to use a garage compresser? Just stop, it won't be worth it.

It depends on the filter bro, but are you listening to us at all? YOU CANNOT fill the tank past 150psi with a 150psi compressor. It probably wont fire ONE shot at full velocity that way....
Just give up on the compressor, it doesn't work, or we would have been doing it years ago.

Hard heads ftw. I have seen it done, but it takes a hard compressor to do it.

Yeah listen to Matrix its not worth it at all. Just go friend people who work at your local paintball field and have them fill your tank. Or offer to work a little here and there in trade for a free fill up.

If you have a DM or Macdev droid you could hook it up and have more pressure going in than the operating pressure of the gun. But its completely impractical and would only work for shooting stuff in your garage. You'll get maybe a pod off the droid if you're lucky.
