my dad has an pirahna e-force gti or somethin like that, he uses for when he plays speedball. I was telling him that he didnt need to go and buy air when i have two full 20 oz tanks but he exclaimed no no no co2 screws with the solinoid of electric guns

you are both correct. CO2 does screw up the electro pneumatic solenoid of paintball markers. The marker he has though, does nto use an electro pneumatic solenoid and therefore will not be in danger whilst using CO2.

His just uses an electonic solinoid to trip a sear. it's not weird. It's the same as any spyder or tippman, Thier are thousands of markers like this.

It won't mess up the solenoid in his gun. But it could mess up the orings and other sensitive parts. Not to mention paintball guns are much more consistent with HPA. An HPA tank would definitely be a worthwhile investment.

lol yea for 6 years the CO2 has just be distroying the O-rings in my piranha... You'd think something would happen lol.

The fact is that the gun is made to run on CO2 and will not have a problem for years with it.
