I just finished cleaning my tippmann a-5 and I put it all back togethor following what the book said. however after I put the stock back on it and I finished putting in the last pin. I went to test fire it and It wont cock/fire the spring still works but it doesn't cock anything.

I didn't take apart the whole gun just the middle part.

So apparently the sear isn't catching the hammer. Check both the sear and hammer and make sure both are installed correctly
