Smile Autocockers

I am planning on buying an autococker. I don't know anything about them though. I have heard several people say that they are hard to time. I watched a video about how to time them and the only thing I don't understand is the actuation part of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am also unsure as to where to get one. If the place I'm thinking of has not sold it yet I can get one for $100. I am also interested in what kind of oil/lubrication to use, paint to use, and what kind of upgrades to get for it if it does not have upgrades. Thank you in advance for replying.

You don't really understand timing until you understand how the autococker works and attempt to do it yourself with cocker in hand.

$100 for a cocker is a standard price, as long as you're not getting a psychoballistics cocker, which arent bad but need heavy upgrading because the pneumatics are ****.

Cockers need plenty of oil, wgp for some reason recommends some weird ass lubes in their manual, like vaseline and stuff on the 3-way. I use paintball oil all around my marker and it works great.

THere's plenty of guides and videos on the web to show you how to do it, so if your cocker gets to you out of time, get a tank filled and start reading up and tinkering away without damaging anything.

if it gets to you untimed or your a moron like me and switch your frame over to factory fast without realizing that throws your custom timing out the window....

mike from tech pb made literally like a 45min-hour long video dedicated to autocockers including how to time them. you should try to find that vid because im sure it will explain any questions you may have...im about to head out to work but if i had more time i would have found it for you.

once you start to understand how to adjust the cockers and have done it a few times you will be able to tell exactly how for you will need to turn a bolt to time it correctly.

practice makes perfect
