Question Need help with Dragun T.E.S.

I could really use any help or advice you might have about this. I have a Dragun T.E.S. and I have never been able to get it to fire a single shot. When I follow all the instructions and insert a freshly filled tank, the guage registers to about 1000-1500 psi. But, when I cock the gun and pull the trigger, the ball in the chamber is simply projected by the bolt; no gas is used in the process. Any ideas as to where I'm not making the right connections for my c02? Paintball guns are pretty easy machines, but I just can't tackle this one. I appreciate any help and ideas!

I do have an ASA, and as far as I know the valve is installed correctly. When I screw in the tank, it doesnt sound like there are any leaks.

I think its in the right spot. Ive got it sitting at the "back end" of the main spring which is going through it. It touches the back plug. I think its in the right spot, because the only other place it could go would be against the striker, and that would require it to some how fit all the way down the "barrel" where the entire striker system sits.

Ok, so it's in the right spot

perhaps your main spring is far too weak and/or your valve spring is way to hard

and that would be related with me not having any c02 expulsion when I pull the trigger? Have you heard of this being a common problem with Draguns? I haven't changed any other the parts.

Well, if your striker isn't hitting your valve pin hard enough for it to open, than no air will will be shot since the valve will stay closed

Maybe youe valve pin is jammed or something

ok cool, just got it to fire and hit a tree around 30 feet away. I messed with the pin set screw and the regulator adjustment screw in the ASA and now can't get it to go more than a few feet. did I block out all the air? also, the gun will not stay cocked. I have to recock it before each shot. THanks for all your help thus far!

In the fore grip, I can either mess with the pin set screw or the regulator adjustment screw. Does any1 know where to set either to get some air in there to launch some paint like its supposed to? Could a low battery be the reason the gun does not stay cocked?

if it's a regulator, turn it ina direction and see if it helps. if it does now, turn it the other way and see what happens.

It's nto staying cocked because there's not enouhg pressure to blow the striker and bolt back.

I've turned both of the screws in both directions and to my ears it sounds identical. Would the change be instantaneous or would I need to pump off a few shots before a change ocurred? Also, I'm using a 20 oz co2 tank and have unscrewed it probably 20 times. Certainly its not empty already?? I really apprecaite the continuing help from you guys. Also, good to see some1 local. Im a little north of Indianapolis!
