Cool New Marker suggestions

I currently have an extremely out dated Spyder Victor 2 paintball marker.
It has a new e-trigger, a new barrel, a new bolt,and a new spring

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a marker that will be significantly better than my 13 bps marker. I need something that unloads faster, and is way more reliable than my p.o.s. trigger.

ANY IDEAS??

forget smart parts, some of the worst products on the market in my opinion, it depends on your budget, if u can afford more than $350 get the ul proto slg, if u can afford the pmr get that, the dangerous power g3 is an amazing marker for the price, but if i were u id stay away from smart parts, most of their guns need to be heavily modified to get it up 2 competition standards. they are replacing the old angels in the paper weight section, they take more time 2 maintain then to play with. there are alot of other guns for cheap that will do the job just as well if not better

I am willing to spend up to $500, I have a decent Halo TSA Backman...but,I am definitely going to get a DYE rotor hopper
but I need a large-ish hpa tank...any suggestions on the hpa tank as well? there cant be that many differences in hpa, besides size and pessure capacity

Definitely get a Carbon Fibre wrap 4500 psi tank. As far as size, that's personal. I like the 68/70's, some people like the smaller 45/47's. I don't know but a COUPLE people that still rock the big ole 88/90's.

As far as marker, When you deduct $100-$150 for the tank, that leaves up to $350. Are you wanting to buy brand new, or are you willing to consider used? If you want new, the suggestion for the Blackheart Vibe is actually quite good. The Vibe is, in many opinions including my own, the best sub $300 marker there is. It has a very good clamping feedneck stock, a nice trigger, eyes, easy maintenance (for a spool valve), fully tournament legal board, and is only $220. Put a on/off on there for $25 and get a $30 J&J barrel, and you're set for YEARS to come.

Also in that price range would be the Invert Mini. A tiny lighter than the vibe, a lot better looking, a little better performance, but about $100 more expensive. However, wouldn't NEED any upgrades out of the box, since you can't put an on/off directly on it (you can get an inline on/off).

Used, you're in goldmine territory. Quests, PM7's, EM7's, Ego6's, Etek2's, Angel 1's, Marq 6's, Shockers all easily had within that price range. I'd go used if i were you.

The 2 things I'd avoid if I were you is the Proto line. The SLG is only a MINUTE amount better than what you have now. It's a low end sear tripper blow forward. It's the best sear tripper made, but it's still firmly in the low end sector. Then the PMR is a nice unbalanced spool valve, BUT, used you can find better values (Quests run about the same, but are many times superior markers) while new they're horrendously overpriced for what they deliver.

The blackeart vibe is very easy to maintain, and it's a very good gun.

The only good gun that you just suggested is the PMR. The G3 and SLG aren't very good guns from what I hear.

I will second the G3 being not good. In fact, that's rather polite compared to what I would call the G3. G3 SE is nice however, and I'd love to get to shoot the upcoming Spec-R without having to purchase one. Also from DP, the threshold was a FANTASTIC marker, if you don't mind that there's very little aftermarket for them since they were a limited run. I also personally think the 3d milling is hideous, but different strokes for different folks. And I would be lax if I forgot to mention the Fusion F7/F8. One of the nicest of the spring assisted stacked tube air-ram (FASOR) designs that can be had used for around the $200-$300 mark. A fine, fine poppet valve marker it is.

The G3 Spec-R is the new version of it

BlackHeart Vibe is indeed a good choice, can play tourneys with it and whatnot thanks to the BH board, nice spool valve design, easy to maintain.
Mini is great too

I am getting a mini soon and will be sure to let him shoot it, also the one i am getting miller seems to have a on/off asa. Ill let you know when it arrives but from what the seller told me and the pics he presented it just screws into the front of the asa and replaces the cap that is already there.
