I'm not sure if you can take an Ion board and put it in a Vibe...
If your gun has eyes, it's pretty much a fancy ball detent. It keeps two balls from falling into the chamber which would cause a sticky mess if you tried to shoot them. It'll sometimes chop some paintballs, but it's rare. You can't make it where you'll NEVER chop balls. It happens. It's just part of paintballing.
Technically the eyes are a sensor that makes sure there's a paintball fully loaded before it lets you fire. That way you dont fire when the paintball is halfway in causing it to chop.

Well I'm a new player so, and I don't want to spend like 500 dollars on a gun. Or maybe your just saying their customer service sucks? Probably just the guns though. Anyhow is the Epiphany any better then the Vibe for the price difference?
Smart Parts lost a huge following after trying to sue every other gun manufacturer into nothing. AKA, probably the greatest gun makers of all time, is now no longer around as a result of those lawsuits simply because Smart Parts couldn't make a good gun by themselves. This is why they market the Ion to noobs, they just see the price and bite the bullet. I personally will not support their ****. The only thing I use is a Freak barrel, but I got an amazing deal on it and it doesn't say Smart Parts anywhere on it so I'm happy.

don't remind me. i liked paintball better when it was free of those deceitful, malicious, shifty, shady, underhanded, two-timing, backstabbing, crooked, devious, unethical ****ing vultures that go by the name of Gardner.
What sucks is that they were in the wrong the entire time, which they realized when they tried to sue WDP and got their asses handed to them because WDP owned the actual patents Smart Parts was claiming they had. Sadly, AKA was already done, and now their amazing guns are selling used, missing parts, for more than what they used to cost new.
