I have this mini mag that i got a yer ago and I've never used it in a game. I shot it once and wasn't all that impressed. Apparently for a mag to really feel good you have to spend lots of money on valves and stuff

I posted it up for sale on MCB and nobody has yey to offer money for it, but i have gotten a few SLG offers. At first I brushed them away because they're a sear-tripper but then I got to thinking that's I'd actually be able to use them in a game over the mag. I'm curious what you guys think, should I hold out of cash or trade it away for a SLG? It's only worth $150-$170ish so i can't hold out for a better trade.

Trade it. You can sell the SLG for $120-150. While SLGs aren't the best gun in the world, they're pretty popular from what I see. If I were you, I'd trade it.

id say go with the cash, you could get a slighly used vibe on that or a few other markers all better than a sear tripper

I'm using the cash for bills and whatnot. I'm trying to downsize my paintball collection.
I've always wanted a spool valve marker, just to see what all the fuss is about; that's why the slg interests me.

I would make the trade so you can see what there all about. For the same reason Im getting an Ion Xe. Also it should sell for the same price used so you shouldn't be losing out.

i dont understand this statement, did you mean increase? you must have, this makes no scence the way it is

the slg would be a pretty poor example of a spool since its still a sear tripper, vibe would be much better

If you can get an SLG plus cash, then atlease try it out
I was thinking about picking myself up an 07 SLG for $150 once I get the cash in, just because I think the SLG will be an awesome marker for $150

And you can always sell it later to those little agglets (or me ) for money
