HPA Tank HELP please

Im new to the sport of paintball and i just recently purchased a Pure energy 48ci 4500psi tank. And I just got it filled for the first time a few days ago. I noticed that it tends to SLOOOOOWLY leak from the very top nipple part. I called the manufacturer and he said that its because its new and the "the orings need a bit to settle"... But Ive also noticed that the nipple is somewhat loose and when i gently move it, it stops leaking... Is this due to the orings not catching all the time yet, as I was told, or was this a simple technique to try and prevent me from returning my product and something is actually defective?

just to clarify - is it leaking from the FILL NIPPLE (on the side of the regulator) or the PIN VALVE (in the center of the male ASA that threads into your marker)? If it is the former, put the tank in a safe place and do not touch it until it leaks itself empty. A loose fill nipple is a major safety hazard that will need corrected ASAP. If it is the latter - just the pin valve - chances are that it will, in fact, work itself out and be fine.

Yes, its leaking from the PIN VALVE where the marker accepts the tank. The pin will move a slight bit when I move it, and doing so seems to stop the leaking. It seems as if it leaks when the pin valve is somewhat to one side, but when I adjust it to the other side the leak ceases. So im figuring it will work tself out, and stop leaking all togrther eventually (with some more use), as you said. Thank you for replying, and being very helpful
