I am new and have hear alot of people saying they use a remote. I am wondering what does a remote do, and how helpful are they?

A remote meens that you take the tank off your gun, and attach your tank to your gun via hose instead

Scenario players like it since it keeps their guns light for long walks and events
You will need a stock or something with your remote though, so you can still shoulder your gun

I personally don't like them, one more thing to break, gets in the way, more stuff to buy, and need to buy a stock with it too

I tried a remote a couple of times and I didn't like it. It didn't work with my playing style. I dive and move alot and it just got in the way. Although in the 2 day long senerio I play, I could see how they could become useful.
