Battery Question

Alright, this may be a stupid question, but I'm going to ask it anyway. I have an old smart parts impulse, but I don't know if it can run off a normal 9v, or if it needs a 9.6v. Can someone help me please?

Thanks a bunch

i recall them taking regular old 9v batteries.

i believe that only the E-frame blowback type markers came with those 9.6v rechargeables.

either would work fine.

yar. back when the impulse came out, i was actually somewhat surprised that it didn't require "shocker batteries."
