So I am looking to get a new forcefeed hopper. i am wondering if it will work okay with a elbow joint or do i need to have it straight on the feedneck?

Don't expect it to feed as fast as it says though.

Ok. that's all i need to know. being that i shoot a mechanical marker I don't need it to be insanely fast.

Just because you have a mech doesn't mean that it doesn't fire fast. I think that some of the Automags fire about as quickly as many electros...

Automags and some autocockers could easily get up to 12 bps there are guys that could hit 15 with a autococker with hinge frame
There are people that can hit 10 bps with a pump using the autotrigger
Go with a halo hopper thats my only advice for a cheaper force feed

RT Automags with a high output tank can hit 20bps all day long and with some tweaking over 30bps.

well i shoot 85bps with a slingshot!
