can i use this as dow 33?
Ok so i went to the only hardware store in my college town and they did not seem to have dow grease. So upon internet research i realized that dow 33 is a silicone based, specialty, multi-purpose, ball bearing lube. So i did find a tube of lube made by AGS that is called SIL-Glyde which is a multi purpose all weather silicone based lube and it says right on the back great for bike bearings. Do you think this would work as dow 33?
heres a pic
thanks in advance

i have a feeling its going to be too thick if it is billed as all weather and especially for bike bearings. typically you use some thick ass grease on those so it wont run off when you are going through mud puddles. A dow 33 would not stay on a bike for long
whats wrong with ordering some dow 33 online?

Probably will work for the most part, but as trbo said, it may be too thick for some things. However, you can always thin it out a little if you have some paintball oil.

No danger of that, looked up the specs on it, and it's completely safe.
