yep. I don't see what's wrong with water, but 409 will be fine.
Machine wash the jersey cold, and allow it to air dry.

cool and cool thank you. its because these masks were left in a cardbord box for awhile and they were covered in paint, by now the paint is no longer like normal, its like gum and really really sticky and very hard to get off, the barrels were covered in paint and i cleaned this one barrel for like 20 min and its still filthy, i think its ruined. not to mention one of the masks is a dye and i dont feel like buying a new one for how much they cost lol

Warm/Hot soapy water should do the trick, regardless of how long its been there.
For tougher stains on jerseys and pants, my buddy swears by automotive degreaser that comes with the purchase of oil change kits from auto part stores. I can't say I've used it yet.
for deep set stains - I've found Draxxus specifically, puts a small amount of wax in their paint, so a cool/warm iron and a paper bag helps lift those out.
Take the barrels off the markers, soak them in hot soap water for 5-10 minutes, then pull a jerk through it. They should wash clean.
The masks - pretty much need the same treatment...just be careful around the foam - and avoid soaking that if you can.
Also - do your best not to submerge the thermal lens. Water can get between the lenses and leave soap/water/hard water marks.

yes i have heard about the water in between the lenses, on the bad side, my washing machine has no cold setting so i guess well see how they come out, thanks for the info on the barrels, and i got the mask pretty clean, i used q-tips and 409 on the outside and dawn and water on the inside (for smells lol) but i will use fabreez soon because the inside reeks of smoke from weed, i think and cigarets, not to mention its been left in a wet damp garage and smells like mildew too so

you don't have a cold cycle? how is this possible?
Depending on the mask, I'd look into buying new foam if it's full of mildew. and i'd definately replace the lens before using it on the field.

it has a cold setting but I'm guessing the cold hose isn't hooked or or our house just doesn't have one, i turned the know to teh "cold" position and i came back a minute later and the water was steaming and very warm so...yea im looking into doing that soon, i have no money though so it will have to wait
