ok so as you may have already seen Ive been posting a bunch of stuff in the last 2 days. i bought a mystery box of paintball gear at a storage auction, i was bidding on this locker and this old guy out bid me, he pulled me aside after and said he felt bad, then he looked in the first box labeled "Paintball" took a look said he didn't want them and i bought the box off him. so now im at home and im lubing and cleaning the guns. my question is: what things can i do to insure they will work properly? your probably thinking "air them up and shoot them duh!" but one time i bought a used gun and the bolt catch/ shear, was worn so when i aired it up and shot it, it went full on auto for like 5 min before it ran out of air, scared the piss out of me and wasted like $10 bucks worth of air and paint at least. the way i tested that after, was i pulled the bolt back and pushed on the bolt rod and since the catch was worn down it would release the bolt when you hardly touched it, i mean things like that, what main areas or important parts should i look deep at by taking the gun apart and what not, complete deep clean and exception so that kind of thing WONT happen again, it pissed me off, i gave that gun away after

FYI, if a marker ever does that full auto thing again, just grab the bolt and it will stop.

haha ok i tried but it was going APE ****! and since there was a bunch of pressure on the tank it was near impossible to screw it off, unless i was going to strip the threads, on my new tank... plus how would i do that with an internal bolt? the mini? although i doubt that would happen to the mini because the bolt is set up differently, but another example would be like the mini's trigger seems a little wobbly so would the recoil of the gun keep pulling the trigger? i had a gun that did that too. ill call my local field tomorrow i guess

The mini doesn't have a sear, and you should use compressed air on it. Like i said, Talk to paintball place nearby and have them help you. A lot of this is hands on learning that can't truly be offered through the internet. If really truly interested, you can find disassembly videos on youtube.
