Why Kids Should Play PB. From a Parent to Parents
As a parent, I have been working on a couple of videos to other parents on why kids should be allowed to play Paintball.
Please feel free to use, share...whatever these videos. Also, let me know any ideas, myths, stupid things that parents say, etc...
Video one: Parents...let your kids play paintball. Why, watch the video. - YouTube
Video two: Parents...let your kids play paintball...part 2 - YouTube
Video Three: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezaViOE_284

I would suggest adding part 3 to this as well, the other thread will probably be closed.
Watching part 3 now...

I don't know if this is why kids SHOULD play paintball, more than how it's not bad for them.

very well put together
my gf just brought up a good point as well. in video games and in specific all the war re-enactment games that are popular now a days are you detached from the other people and while the acts of violence or pain you are commuting are only simulated you are also detached from that other person but in paintball, say you hit another player in the neck, you get to see that reaction of pain and not to mention once you are hit you also know what it is like so i feel thats even more of an intensive to not cause pain to someone else
gmore- well done, if you are going to continue this might i suggest another topic to touch on? iv played just about every common sport you can think of however, paintball is by far and large the one sport that has the most sportsmanship in it. players help eachother out all the time, weather it is advise, congratulating an opponent on a good shot or going as far as to allow a walk on to use a backup marker because his broke. we have all seen it and done it. the goal of the sport is to have fun not win and count kills like so many combat video games do.
you may also want to mention that while there are a few players out there who are shall we call them "bad apples" by and large the player base is extremely friendly and supportive. i feel it may be a little mis-representitive if parents take their kids to the field for the first time and expect everyone to be the most friendly people on the planet, while by and large it is very friendly, you just dont know when you will meet those few players or a small group that has a different idea about the sport.

very true. In other sports, i generally hate the other teams by the end of the day. In paintball, i've come across maybe 5-4 people that I wish never to meet again.

^^^ ill agree to this
played against a few pro teams, or at least their practice squads, if they really were in it to just shoot people you would think they would just all be on one team playing against the new players, but they divide themselves up and play against eachother with the walk ons mixed in. after the game they will give the new players pointers on how to play better and congratulate them on what they did do
