so i got a dye mask, used, and it seems to be a little big. ill put it on and it will slide down by its self. can i buy an aftermarket strap thats smaller? the strap on it is an aftermarket dynasty strap. im guessing it got stretched out or somthing

im not sure that it will be smaller but chances are it will not be stretched out which may be all you need. which mask did you get?

I dont really think different staps are different sizes but its possible that it could of gotten stretched out

oh alright, well i fixed it, the straps like V-V=====V-V right, i believe its called the butterfly strap? (v stands for Velcro) and i cut the outer ones V/V=====V/V and then super glued them on the inside of the original inter one so it shortened the strap and works perfectly, hold just nice and i still have plenty of room to adjust.

Well hey if it works, it works!

Eventually it will loose all elasticity and you'll have to replace the strap. It doesn't cost much and it's also easy to do.

i would however recommend replacing the lens. you just never know what the previous owner did to it and if you find out they did something bad, its probably too late

yeah i probably will change the lens and the strap soon, however lens comes first. its better safe then blind...
