Dude i love doing this
I have multiple slingshots that i use in larger scenario games when i run out of paint. I just pick paint up off the ground and shoot it in the slingshot

There's these guys who so sword fighting on Purde campus over the summer. they have full chain mail and plate armor, complete with real swords and shields. I can't remember what it's called, but they beat the **** out of each other once a week for a few others. And it is AWESOME!!

found it. it's called SCA. here's one of the most cool videos I've found of it. I've only seen 1v1 fights. I can't imagine an entire field of people going crazy on eachother. My mind is exploding imagining the posibilities

shortbus, i'll have to checkout this gloveshot!
turbo, when i was using the slingshot my other 3 team members all had 98 customs. when i had the 2 hand sword the first guy i ran down had a 98 custom. when i was throwing spears the guy with the tan sleeveless shirt had a jt pistol both times i killed him. the guy in the red sweat shirt i threw a spear at had a 98 custom. watch in hd i guess.
martix, i'll take it. i get called larping all day everyday. if you want to call it larping that is fine with me. i see you have 21k posts. how about you go play some paintball and give your keyboard a rest. and yeah sca looks pretty hardcore and fun.

I have nothing against larping, i'm just pointing out something I noticed.
While larping is sorta weird, it's just an extension of things like D&D( which is cool, even though I've never participated in it)
Also, last night I was at home when I should have been at work. I was riding my bike, slipped on a wet metal cover, and put my thigh into a metal pole at 15 mph. There's no visible bruising yet(which is weird) but I could barely walk so they sent me home. You better believe I'll have pictures up when it starts looking ugly.

I know a few guys that do the SCA stuff, they get about 10-15 people together in the local park and do that stuff. They have been practicing tactics and stuff to go to some big battle.
Its fun to watch, but I doubt I would ever get involved.
