Last time I played at night there was supposedly guys playing with night vision. I never got hit by them because I was behind a huge bush, but boy did they shoot at me a lot. I went back in the morning and that bush was ORANGE.

Night games done properly are fun. Come to Arizona to see how to do one right during the summer where night paintball is far more popular (no shocker considering 120 degree temps during the day).

I like Arizona golf courses as well. people go at 4 am because it's still tolerable outside.

Lol, sounds about right, we are going for a Guiness World Record, so our team, and a few others are getting gen 3 night vision etc... Should be that bad, plus there will be portable lighting here and there, everything must be recorded 24/7

I played a night game once. It was a "scenario" event. We ended up dropping our markers and going for the objectives. Needless to say, our team won, everybody else just wasted paint.

yep. I went out with my pump and maybe shot half a hopper int eh or 3 hours we were playing. It was a ridicolus waste of paint for everyone else. I did get barrel tagged though by a sneaky guy who was just hanging out with us for a while. We didn't even bother asking him what team he was on.

yeah paintball at night sucks, i tried airsofting at night once and it really sucked, it was only me and a friend and we were like target practicing then all of a sudden we broke out into a war and i ran and hid and he kept hitting me. the main down fall is the gun i had (it was his) the barrel was taped back on and i had no idea of the shooting pattern so i was lost, not to mention i had like 5 bb's so i was SOL once we hit the dirt, oh and of course he had a full auto ak, haha. then when I called a truce after being nearly swiz cheese and said "i wanted to trade for a match" he said he had enough...enough?...enough what?! last i checked i was the one being shot at and couldn't do anything about it, so enough of?...shooting? idk haha, that was awhile ago we were pretty young but it still pisses me off till this day because when ever we go paint balling he wants to use MY gun instead of HIS gun because mines "better." its really a toss up. my gun shoots paint, his gun shoots paint, our velocities were the same. i see no difference, it only comes down to the gun so far then the rest is all players, skill and tactics. but whatever i hardly play with him, hes too chicken****!

It's also a terrible idea to bring a flash light. Once it's on, you're open game.

I remember trying to play paintball at night once. I somehow attached a headband flashlight to my old Maxis EG and my friend had my old Tippmann X7 with a flashlight on his hand. We played 1v1 on a big, open field with a huge hole in the middle that covered most of the field's area. Each of us started at each other's field end, we ended up staying in the same spot, switching just ocationally, to the flashing dot at the other side of the field. None of us got the other. I was the closest one to get him, just by a few centimeters (even with my old Maxis's horrible acuarcy). We stopped playing because we heard the voice of an old man, it came from tha guy living just at the side of the field we used (It wasn't an official paintball field, it was a actually a construction yard that was just being prepared for construction). We ended up spying on him to see if he has seen us or something. People might confuse our paintball marker's sound with the sound real firerarms do. My friend claims that the sound is way to different so there shoudn't be a problem playing, but generaly people in my region don't know the difference, if they hear consecutive loud noises like a paintball marker they might confuse them with the sound of agun and report it to private security (I live in a private place with it's own security personel) or the actual cops, and I really don't want to mess with the State Police, those guys are bastards.
PS I sold my Maxis EG to my Dad's friend's dad (hope I spelled that right), he lives in a "pueblo" and he is going to use it against dogs .
