Help Gun Not Shooting
Hi, I bought a spyder electra about 3-4 weeks ago, took it out to a speedball game and it worked perfect. loved it. no big deal.
today i hooked it up to go shoot a bit, screw in the tank, put the barrel on, put the hopper on, filled the hopper, turned the gun on, turned the hopper on, walked outside. I shot a few rounds off on semi auto, then switched to ramping for some fun, shot about 5 rounds off and it started making this clicking noise that i hear when i practice my ramping inside with nothin on it.
I've only heard this noise twice:
1. ran out of air- checked that. i have 2.5 PSI
2. my hopper wasnt feeding.
3. practicing inside with no air
another weird thing was that if i kept pulling down on the trigger it would shoot every 10-15 pulls.. very odd. as if the air pressure had to build up inside the gun before it would shoot.

sounds like a battery issue. charge or replace the battery and report back.

no problem. a lot of strange issues can be solved by replacing batteries. always do that first, then mover on to more complicated solutions

a multi-meter helped me figure out things even more quickly. And it REALLY saved me when my car radio wires didn't match up with the adapter they sent me. What a disaster that was.

Yes. Most Spyders are designed around using 9.6v not 9v, I believe the Electra still was (definitely was if it was an ORIGINAL Electra).

yes. assuming you have the charging cable for your spyder. they still have charging ports on the board, right?

Don't buy the Spyder one though. They're only 170 MAh, you can get a good 9.6V 230 MAh rechargeable NiMH for like $1 more.
