help getting out and playing

ok so i have gotten myself 4 guns in the last 2 week period along with tanks and masks etc. so my original plan was to just go out to woods by my house and shoot a few other friends on the weekends but it got me thinking, is it really a good idea to go play in a public/private Forrest? since all the shootings the last week im pretty sure cops are cracking down on that sort of thing, i dont want to go to a field because A: its like $50 every time you want to play B: id much rather shoot my friends (therapy) plus they wont have the money to play at a field, and C: the closest field is like 15 miles away across town, and i dont drive. what am i to do!? i hate to *****. also the place i was talking about is closed anyway, they went out of business

Well honestly its not a bad idea to play behind your house if there is sufficient enough land.
I have a corn field and 5+acres of woods behind my dads so me and my dad went out there some years ago and built a wooden type speedball practice course. We have never had the cops called on us and no body has ever said anything to us

alright cool ill go explore them today and see whats up. one Forrest is on school grounds and has coyotes but whatever. we use to airsoft in the Forrest and field everyday in the summer just wide open where everyone can see us. the next place is like behind a public library, we've seen people camping back there, of course illegally, also found a homeless camp with stolen bikes and piles of rotting clothes and we went deeper and found his like living room away from home lol, he had made tables and had a garbage can and a bunch of stuff, crutches, signs he made, dog kennel, stool, a little toilet thing, not to mention his garbage can (home depot bucket) was full of police tickets and letters from cops saying he needs to get out. another problem with that is i think its actually a park made for walking dogs and stuff because there are no trespassing signs and where its located (behind the library) you wouldn't be able to see us from the road and its about 5 acres. there's a huge tall grass field with multiple trails running through them, that sounds pretty fun LOL. so basically there's potential in my spots and like i said I'm going to go check those locations out. there's another Forrest like the one on school grounds but its a different one and I've seen people airsofting there. no orange tips, hardly any masks and (use to bike there) when we rode by them they were shooting us, which pissed me off so... its a tough call and like i said i hate to complain and whine but, whats the worst that can happen? (i do know what the worst can happen is so you dont have to tell me)

The worst that has ever happened to me is they have asked us to leave but i know a guy that accidently shot the officer and they took him in custody for assaulting an officer but the charges were dropped though

if there's any possibility of the public coming by, or you have more than 0% chance of hitting someone who isn't playing, don't play there

best thing you can do is ask the local police. if it is your own land it is not an issue but public land sometimes can be sometimes is not. if it is on school grounds and especially right now, i would say avoid that.

no trespassing signs mean, surprisingly enough, no trespassing, meaning, if you do not have permission to be there, you should not.

i used to play on a field behind a friends house, since it was public land he asked the local police, they said as long as the few houses in the vicinity were ok with it, go for it. so he asked, everyone said they were fine with it and we played.

Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, that makes a firearm better makes a paintball marker worse. They are 2 very different worlds with nothing except a trigger in common
