well A) its a piranha, not known for the highest quality markers by any means
B) im suspecting it was a little on the colder side considering it is January and it is a STBB, not the easiest on paint
C) id try replacing the spring for the velocity, also, check to make sure the internal bits are actually placing more or less tension on the spring when you turn the knob. i have seen it where those get stripped and are turning but not actually adjusting the spring at all
