My fishy wont run on C02..only HPA!!!!!!
I have had my Piranha SRT E-FORCE for 3 weeks now,it has had a few problems since I have had it, like having to change springs a few times to bring up or drop the velocity.
Today my brand new gun(used it about 8 times) kicked the bucket, I got there and my gun was rolling balls out the barrel with the stiffest spring I had I could only get it up to 205. The guy at my park tried helping me and stretched the spring that I had in there, then we tested it with his HPA tank cause it was right there so he just screwed that into my gun cause my C02 tank was about 40 feet away. The gun worked perfect with a bit of velocity adjusting the gun got to 275. Then we both thought that stretching the spring had done the trick so I screw my C02 tank in and it doesnt work, ball doesnt even come out the barrel, field stripped...nothing appeared to be wrong, so i try another c02 tank and it doesnt work either. We try the HPA again...275. The guy has a look nothing seems wrong, he said hes gonna take it home and have a look.
What could have happened did my gun aquire a taste for the high quality HPA and now it cringes upon the C02, has my gun become a snob........ .....j/k what do you seriosly think is wrong with my gun?

When firing individual shots the type of gas doesn't matter at all, only the pressure. If CO2 at roughly 850psi wouldn't even shoot the ball out of the barrel the problem probably lies with the tank valve or an empty tank. Use a large allen wrench and *carefully* press the pin on the tank. Does any air fly out? Do you have a pressure gauge on the gun? What pressure output was his HPA reg set to?

if it was just freshly filled then it may have not had enough time to "warm up." how warm was it outside? cooler temps = lower psi output from co2.

Unless both Co2 tanks were empty I don't see anyway that that could have happened? The ball didn't even come out of the barrel when using roughly 850psi CO2? What was the HPA outputting unregulated 3000psi?! I'm getting a headache.
*edit* sorry, I get a little excited when things seem to defy physics.

man you must be doing some really really wrong, or something is wrong with your valve. take it out, look at it, if it has a big huge nasty crack along the middle, then thats bad.
i dont see anyway that hpa would work but co2 wouldnt...

try slapping a reg on there, and slowly increasing the pressure- that should work... not a guarentee tho.

Try posting in the right forum! I heard that helps a lot!
This isn't an electro-pnuematic gun, it shouldnt matter whether you use hpa or co2. Check every single o-ring and make sure your gun is oiled and that the paint isn't too big for the barrel.
