I still have a scar.
I got shot from 2 feet away by an over-the-speed-limit Tippmann. The guy ran in a suicidal sprint towards my bunker while I painted him pink. After about 15 shots on him, he reached his gun around the bunker and got me.

I did not feel anything on that instant, probably due to the adrenaline rush, but I was pissed off at the ref for calling both of us out. I did not notice the wound until my friend point out that my shirt had a hole on the impact zone. Most of you have probably seen worse, but this is the nastiest hit I've taken.

what is it with stupid people who are too lazy to take 2 minutes at the chrono station. I was shot in the neck by a tippy that was shooting hot, but it was from far away so it didnt hurt too badly

whats the difference between 280 and 300
its not gunna kill you

if you think there shooting hot, get them out
its not very hard
just pepper them with lotsa balls so they turn it down if you care that much

btw that sucks that he still played on, i woulda kept shooting him after

and yeah, i hate it when folksals play on and just don't wanna stop..

and punker "peppering" them with balls isn't gonna get them to turn it down.. and it is a big deal .. lookit his arm!

no guns "hurt more"
2 guns using the same paint shooting at the same velocity will both inflict an equal amount of pain. So getting shot by a talon will hurt just as much as getting shot by a timmy

i think he was jokin.. but that sucks, i had one of those on my back.. Teamate shot me by mistake when we were running out to get to our bunkers at the start. he was like right behind me.. and he was hot, but by mistake.. He thot it was right.

im not talkin about when people shoot about 300fps. im talkin about when people crank it up all the way which is about....oh i dont kno......380fps on some guns. which can shatter ur goggles and kill you! and like that dude up ther in the pic, it can go right through ur clothing and make u bleed.

first off man, to make a paintball do that, it's gonna have to be at WAY more than just 300 fps, i've gotten hit at 300 fps and it still isnt that bad....

second he did get the guy out...about 15 times he said... and he never said anything about that peppering gettin the guy to turn it down.....

Just to give you an idea on how hot some guns can shoot bunker...

I was playing at one of the local fields with some buddies and the guy next to me got shot in the goggles, and when it hit it was loud, and you could tell that paint was running hot. After that round we cronoed the guy, he was shooting 460fps, that is fast, and very dangerous.

I know of people that are blind because of others shooting hot cause they think its cool.

ive never heard of anyone getting blinded but im sure it can happen. i think people that go over a certian point should be banned from where ever they are playing because of what it can do (that story ^^^^^)
