Jewish IS most definetly both a race and a religion, look it up if you doubt me. And i dont think that him using the word jew was a slur, but using the phrase "i got jewed" is.

ok, first, i dont care if you deleate the thread, it wont bother me... so just dont bother.

Second, read the quoted lines... those are describing a race, not a religion. Yes, anyone can convert to the jewish religion. That doesnt make it not also a race. I said it is BOTH.

Third, the offensive thing was my opinion, taken in the context of what he said. Just like it said in what you quoted, using it as a noun is ok.

Wrong. That's a myth- they looked back through his ancestry and couldn't find one Jew, so it's untrue.

As for the rules, the only rule concerning it has to do with religious debates/discussions, and that wasn't, he was just calling himself a Jew. Besides, it's the mods' job to enforce the rules, if you don't like a post, report it.

(there are other definitions, but based on that one, i would say that it does in fact describe a race)
