If they were full auto, there's still always going to be a semi auto mode, so it doesn't matter.
There are many different types of cockers, which one are you looking at?

Mechanical cockers don't have firing modes. They are semi-only. They can shoot as fast as you can pull them basically, but that's not going to be too fast since they are mecjanical, which usually have a longer, and harder trigger pull than electronic.
Electronic cockers, with E-Blade, are uncapped. And have shorter, and lighter trigger pulls than mechanical frames. These however, do not have firing modes.
Impulses are electronic, so with a good blade trigger on there, you can get a pretty high ROF on these. These also don't have firing modes. But, you can buy an aftermarket electronic circuit board for your Imp to get firing modes like full-auto, and burst modes. There are many boards for the Impulse, all with different caps. The stock Non-Vision Cricket Board is capped at 13.7bps., the vision Board is capped at 20bps., and there are others like the WAS EQ Board which is uncapped.

i remember seeing a video of a viking going full auto. He shot it a few times and then it just let loose, he could take his hand off it also. I thought it was the coolest, was it his board or something? I know, im a noob to higher end guns!

It's called bounce...As you can tell the trigger basically bounces and just keeps hitting the switch to make it shoot.
