Laws about paintball?

Im about to be driving in a month and I'm wondering; what are the laws about bringing a marker in your car? If anyone has specific information about laws in Connecticut that would be great too.

well usually the police wont care as long as you aren't shooting it. I mean if you have a legit reason you'll be fine.

Just don't have it loaded or gassed up or within easy reach and you should be fine.

I know the laws because I found them out from our local paintball field.

While driving in a car you must have your co2 unscrewed. It can be full but not into the marker itself.
It is disliked to have the marker right in the view of the public as many people are very etchy about seeing things that look like "guns" in broad daylight. Ya know what I mean?
So yeah, as long as it's unscrewed your not screwed.

you might have some complications getting it in. I'd say just don't take, or go to the airport early and try to explain why your bringing a gun, co2 and a lot of paintballs through :P

Mail it, it'll save a lot of hassle UPS ground should be fine, it just depends when you want it there.

I definentally know you can't take it on a plane. I flew about a month back and there are signs saying: "No knifes, explosives, firearms, COMPRESSED AIR TANKS, etc..."

I'de just mail it.

I would say do not worry too much about it. If you are really concerned about it, disassemble the gun before transporting it.
