In the movie "8 mile" (with eminem), the main characters shoot paintballs at pedestrians and police officers from their car. Here's the question: Which one of these do you think is the worst when it comes to giving paintball a bad name?

Definately movies that glorify shooting pedestrians with PBs. That's the kind of crap that gangsta wanna-bes might copy so they can be "hardcore".

Paintball guns dressed up as real firearms don't cause any problems unless some idiot decides to brandish it in a public place.

People are going to do stuff like this, and there's no stopping them. It's no worse than other sports, take football for instance. A lot of people have died playing it, it actually promotes you to be violent, they've had entire professional teams convicted of rape, and some of their players get away with double murders scott free. I don't see football failing anytime soon

So I don't think it will put a hamper on paintball at all.

both media it will get out to a bigger audience and the media always exagerates things when it comes to paintball.

Depends on which media. The majority will yes, just like they exagerate anything to make it so they can get their paycheck with as little effort as is possible of their lazy lying asses. But every now and then you will find an honest reporter, that actually tries to get the truth out to you. Problem is they usually don't get press because the made up stories sound better to the ignorant public.

In 8 mile thats hilarious when he takes the ****in paint roller...omg everytime i see that i'm crackin up. But yea....I'd say that gives a bad name to paintball more than scenario gats.

i saw on the news that these two guys took a paintball gun with red paint and shot random ppl on the street and video taped it...it was pretty funny watching them scream but they got arrested...that gives a bad name to paintball

a lot of people... believe me, every one who comes to my house and osent have a marker always asks me to drive around and shoot people. I know it's :

1. It's very illegal.
2. It gives PB a bad name.
3.It is VERY unsafe.
4. It's just stupid... not even funny.
