Seriously, who would expect otherwise?
Should Walmart stop selling computers because the employees can't program them?
Should walmart stop selling ceiling fans because the employees can't install them?

THIS IS NOT SEARS. This is Walmart. The goal is to sell things as cheaply as possible.

I am amazed that Walmart sells those spyder clones for $40 or so. The same gun 14 years ago would have cost $400. The technology gap these days IS MUCH, MUCH smaller then it was back thing. The entry level guns are not much different then high-end guns.

Anyway, I like walmart, and I hope it keeps selling PB stuff. I feel sorry for anyone who goes there expecting expert advice though. All the products come with consumer information telephone numbers.

Those words are so stinking true... So true....

I love walmart, it's so great. Great place to go to and get some pretty nice stuff. You find 1000 paintballs for 20.77. The balls are cheap and don't break for me much. I like them. Their stuff is good.

Also, if it wasn't for wallmart, teh paintball death rate would probably go down. Thats just a guess, but the kid that killed his mother with his CO2 tank got all his stuff from wallmart.

The tank and gun came from Ebay.

There is a concept called "personal responsability". Walmart also sells firearms. Its not there responsability to teach you proper safety. Its YOUR OWN. Its also our PARENTS.

Blame Walmart? For doing there job? Heck, we might as well blame the shelf the stuff is sitting on, and blame the cash register for holding our money.

Lets all say it together: PERSONAL RESPONSABILITY.

When I got my first BB gun, you know what I did? I pointed it at my hand, and fired! It broke the skin, an hurt like a @(*#$! I was curious, and had NOBODY TO BLAME BUT MYSELF.

I'm pretty sure the stuff came from wallmart. Read it in an article somewhere.

However, the way they conduct themselves when trying to sell stuff is pissing. One guy tried to tell me to put windex on my thermal mask so it never fogs, adn thats a special trick he used in tournies.

whats it matter?
i could get a gun at walmart and kill someone, would it be their fault??
no
walmart just supplies the stuff, they arent responalbe for what you do with it
and its not like they sell it to anyone
they sell it to anyone over 18

I don't agree with you. It's not walmarts fault that, that kids mother died. First off it's his parents fault for letting him get/have the stuff without him knowing how to properly use the Sh*t and his for not learning how to properly use the stuff. Whether his mother died because he didn't know how to use it or whether he did and it was a freak accident. You can't blame it on the retailer.

I know we've bought paintball stuff from walmart and it's just like any sporting goods store that sells it, they scan it, it beeps and asks if the buyer is of 18yrs of age and I know at ours, if you're not and there's not an adult with you you're not going to be able to buy the item. So I can't see where it's Walmart's fault at all.

WEll answer me this: People get guns and kill people then blame it on video games (most commonly grand theft auto) why? I forget what movie this is from.. But if a burglar was brakking into your house and fell from your sunroom and landed on a knife and cut himself, he could probably sure you can get away with it

Yes. PEOPLE are stupid. Non-ammonia based windex would work fine as anti-fog/lens cleaner. But he never clarrified that, so if you used the ammonia based stuff, it would of killed your lense.

People are stupid, and the world is full of people who DON'T KNOW they are stupid. (which is the worse types). Sports Authority recently refused to fill my 20oz because it was marked as a 1.25 POUND tank.

I just bought a widescreen DVD at walmart. The cashier tried to explain to me that it has "parts of the movie chopped off". This is false, but I don't give a crap. The DVD was still cheaper then Best-Buy, and I'm smart enough not to believe anything any employee says at walmart.

I find nothing round with Wal-Mart. I buy my paint their. I really don't expect any help. I just want to be able to buy paint. If I have any problems I go to PBF.

Actually, at least at my place, our people who work in the paintball area's and gun area's know the stuff. At least a little.

This one woman said to me as I was looking for my first gun.
"Excuse me mam." I said.
"Can I help you sir?"
"Yes please, which marker would you recommend to a new player?"
"A VL Orion, VL Triad or if your going cheap go for a BE Marauder."
"Do you play?"
"About three times a year. My son got me into it."
"Wow."

So the conversation continued in paintball. Found out she uses her son's spare Tippman 98c. Isn't that cool?

Also I met other people at walmarts sport area's and they are at least a little bit knowledgable in paintball and hunting and crap. I think they try to get the people who specialize in those area's to post them there. At least at my walmart.

No, it's not amazing gear. But it's good for new players. Or people looking for cheapness.
