Oh I agree Cooper that BPS doesn't make you better, however it does give you more chances to get hits.

I used to play Stock Class but I traded the phantom for a matrix.

The entire reason.
If you want to know the reason that less and less people happen to use pumps is because the idea of shooting more bps is very attracting to most players. And since most new players are getting markers that shoot high bps or just semi-automatic they are uninterested in the pumps that actually started the sport out.
As for we know in the beginning of paintball that it was a pump game. And the idea of people shooting pump markers just makes them tired and they thing it's boring. As we know, many new players will not be attracted to something that has a lower shooting rate. Which is why they do not purchase these markers. Follow me so far?
Recently WDP and other companies have been making some amazing pump and stock markers to raise the demand of paintball pump markers. But the markers being so high, many new players and players in general do not feel as it is a nessessity to buy the pumps at prices that are just around the same as the regular markers you can get that have a high bps rate. Which is why I'll end with this statement- Players just don't want lower bps markers, but if we work and make pumps more popular, then we will raise the bar of players using pump.

there is no angel pump and I can never ever remember the wdp company making or talking about a pump.
i think you were probably trying to pull that outa your ass.....maybe? talking about something you don't know about.
big companies aren't putting out pumps now. wgp is putting out the sniper2 like it always had because the sniper series was its first gun. it really isn't 'new' because all they have done is continued updating the body with the stock semi version and just throwing on a pump arm.
other than wGp no other company really produces a pump along with there primary semi auto...that of course is leaving out ccm because it is a cocker clone. Phantom amp illusions..strokers and other like guns.

Sniper wasn't the first gun. I don't remember what the first one was but it wasn't the sniper.

They are worth the money, so to speak. I know when I used a pump I went from using 1k of paint in an 8 hour period to just over 3-4k with my semi.
