Mods: I dont know if this should have gone in the player stories thread or here, but because it didnt actually have paintball in the story, I decided on here. Please move/delete this if it is in the wrong section.

So I was at camp for the past two weeks. One night, our leader woke us up at around midnight, and told us to put on something dark, and shoes. I threw on my black sweatshirt, and went outside. (Note: this isn't the tent kind of camp. it has cabins) We looked around our division. Everyone's lights were on except for cabin 1's. We started off at the trail leading to clark field (which is atleast 1/4 mi). Our leader then said to us: "The Vietnamise are hidden throughout these woods. We have to reach our objective safely." (He is really into roleplaying.) We pretty much never turned on our flashlights. We split the cabin in half, and leap-frogged to get to clark field. When we were about 20 yards away from the field, we saw a campfire. Our leader then told us that our objective had changed: Ambush the enemies at the field. We waited until the kids around the fire began chatting, and crawled about 10 yards onto the field. We all went prone. The kids got up, and went to their sleeping bags on the field (apparently they were doing a campout) Their leaders then told them: "Guys, let's turn our flashlights off, and be quiet for 2-5 min. and just enjoy the stars." At this point I thought they were in on it. We crawled closer to the campers, and made sounds like we pulled the pin on a grenade and threw it. We then stood up and walked away. It sounds kinda lame, but it was so much fun. Cabin 1 apparently wasn't anywhere near the field or trail.

Anywho, to get onto the paintball aspect. I was thinking: Are there night games in paintball? (games as in: not with your buddies in your backyard, but like commercial fields)

tl;dr: I snuck up on these 10 yr old kids at night with my cabin-mates at a summer camp. Are there night games of paintball?

Awesome. some places have night games, mostly secnerio though.

Yeah it would.

I sure do wish that my field stayed up beyond 5:00... Then we'd be able to play night games... Only problem is our fields are small. And the really big ones are always being taken by a larger party.

night paintball games really dont work out. you cant see in the dark, now put ur foggy mask on. when we tried it basically it ended up being a really long game and engangment ranges were like 10 feet.

Several scenario and 24 hour games last into the night. There's going to be a "Band of Brothers" themed one on 9/25-26 in Dalton Georgia put together by 24 hour games Supposidly they are going to have glow in the dark PBs and hoppers for everyone that wants to rent/buy them. Imagine 200 people in the woods at night shooting tracerfire back and forth. It would certainly be a sight to behold. Personally I wouldn't use glow in the dark PBs since tracer fire works both ways. The enemy can see where you are shooting from.

night would be kinda hard, unless its scenario. casue ppl could be like 15 feet apart and not see Sh#t! but i used to play games with my friend wher is like pitch black in a field with trees n ****, like forest., the middle guy gets paintball gun, and then you all hide while he counts to 30. at least 50 feet away frm the target, and what you try to do it touch the target without him shooting you, then ur safe. the middle guy also gets a weak flashlight.

its really cool casue i can lay on the ground like 10 yards away, and he wil shine the flashlght right on me and not see me. good game...

we play woods ball at our local field and they put special uv lights in thare hoppers and special paint and paintballs, and it is cool, verything is glow in the dark, especially the refs, thare like a 500 watt light
