You need some help with playing the snake. You should never be laying down, unless you are moving up or something.

Yes, laying in the snake like that is bad. At least be on a knee so you can switch sides... Snake should almost always be looking inside. Unless there isn't a back behind you, but you still shouldn't be focused on tape.

actually if you've played the mid-atlantic field the snakes are so gay that you have to lay down to shoot out one side

I dont know bout your field... but at mine the refs REF, not take pictures.

well its a pretty small indoor field with two fields. When they combine the 2 into 1 its not even 50 ft wide. Plus the ref was 14 so hes not paid. Only volunteer

My field they designate one of the refs to just run around all day taking pictures. It's a little perk to going to that field.
