that would be sick, imo it should already be in the olympics! well, actually the olympics are to prissy and its an xtreme sport any way.

i think it would be cool to have it go mainstream, i could see why people wouldnt, cuz of all the posers and stuff..but once you ball with those posers and get them in check, they will soon learn how the game is played, right now paintball doesnt get as much respect as it should, i think it would get 10 times more if it were mainstream, and why not share the love we all seem to have for it with everyone else?

Exactally. People think paintball is like all ****ty guns with hell of ****ty goggles that barely cover your eyes.... I don't know, people think it's really a lot different than it is.

They think it's all woods, too.

When was the last time you asked an older person if they knew what Paintball is, and they explained to you about Speedball?

They always relate it to the woods.... and some people usually ask
"Do you wear a mask? I wouldn't, especially if it wasn't required...."

You know? So having it become mainstream has it's ups and downs.....

More people=More fields and cheaper prices.
Prices now are pathetic for paint and field entry.

The "cool" kids in my school try to paintball they are all stupid though and think a better guns means a better player. one of them just paid something like 450 for an upped A-5, and he thinks he going to own everyone, but the last time i played wiht him i shot him and he cried

and to answer you question no i hope paintball doesnt go main stream because then it would just get stupid. I chose paintball for a sport for a reason, to NOT go mainstream like basketball, and baseball like everyone else.

I agree all the way, there are tons of posers at my school and even though I am new to the forum paintball is my life and only 2 ppl in myschool paintball I am one.

I was walkin down the hall the other day and heard some kid say...yea but my co2 tanks not filled up... I just couldnt help smile cause i thought me and my friends were the only ones that pballed.

the problem if it goes mainstream is more ppl will abuse it

plus its the only thing that makes me stick out (that and im 6'3")
out of 550 students 4 play serious paintball and about 7 play rec ball

paintball is starting to become mainstream at my school i walk down the halls and ive seen kids wearinging pb jerseys... i have no problem with that, more people that play more feilds and cheaper prices. that makes me happy.
