How do you expect for him to lower field and paint prices around the world? Besides the fact that he is doing a school project, and is still a teenager, the paint companies that make millions on sales would never lower the prices. And as Chrome stated, it's the field and shop owners who jack up the prices. If they can double their profit, and people are buying, do you think that they will honestly lower the prices? Supply and demand.
You can't make paintballs more accurate unless you make them more areodynamic, and to do that they will have to be cone shaped. You cannot load cone shaped objects threw a hopper. Despite the fact that it would hurt much more when you get hit.
I cannot think of a major problem, or any problem that has not been solved, that you can solve in your home. You could do a 2 9volt mod to a Halo B and say it reduces weight, but thats noting new.
